Immersion Programs

The fastest way to learn English is through total immersion. The quality of that immersion is what will determine the success or failure of the program…and the student. For over 25 years, Estrie International’s International Language School has been evolving its Immersion Programs — building academic content, training teachers, listening to students, and keeping up on the most current ESL trends and innovations. Students can elect to study any of our 4 Immersion Programs depending on their individual goals, timelines, and budgets. The core program is the Immersion 15 Program – Integrated Language Skills (ILS). Students can select additional courses based on the skills that are most important for their goals. Immersion 30 traditionally offers the fastest language acquisition in the shortest time.

ILS Program (Integrated Language Skills)

This is the foundation of Estrie International Immersion programs and it develops the 4 skills critical to good English usage at all levels.

L&S Course (Listening & Speaking)

Added to the ILS Program, the L&S class gives students more opportunity to develop their oral communication skills for a wide variety of situations.

R&W Course (Reading & Writing)

Continuing to build on the program, the R&W Course focuses the students’ skills on better written communication that will be necessary for future academic and professional goals.

SS/TP Course (Special Skills/Test Preparation)

This course, when added to Immersion 25, helps students reach their targets in the fastest possible time. Special Skills is for lower-levels and Test Preparation is for higher levels.
